Small Group Training
Small group training is just you, me and the girls in our Sandpoint gym. This is perfect for you if you are ready to get back into the gym but in a smaller setting. Our small group sessions are generally limited to 8 people so we can space out nicely. You’ll love the fun camaraderie and the uplifting environment.
While we create a “workout of the day” for the group we also accommodate for modifications and limitations of each person in the group to personalize the each workout even more.
Our schedule adjusts a small amount throughout the year as the seasons change.
SESSION DESCRIPTIONS
To keep the studio sanitized at all times we clean each piece of equipment after an individual is finished with it – even if it is in the middle of the workout session as the client moves to another piece of equipment.
Strength
Strength based sessions are the foundation of what we do here at Missi Balison Fitness. Building strength is KEY for women to live a long, healthy and confident life. In our strength sessions we use a variety of equipment including dumbbells, sandbags, medicine balls, small (woman sized) barbells and more.
HIIT Core Mobility
Our HIIT Core Mobility sessions offer a combination of high intensity interval training, targeted core work and prolonged mobility sessions. This is a great class if you want to improved your range of motion and flexibility and not miss out on a good sweat!
Boxing Bootcamp
You'll build stamina, improve coordination and flexibility, and burn calories as you build lean muscle with this fun upbeat session. We'll show you how to throw punches and kicks with the best of form! In these sessions we use boxing gloves and punching bag, battle ropes and other tools to keep it fun and fresh.
Endurance Strength
Endurance Strength is a fancy word for "cardio and strength moves wrapped up in one calorie burning bundle of a class." These sessions will improve both your cardiovascular strength AND cardiovascular endurance and are perfect for building the stamina you need to get all those things (work and fun) that you need to get done!
Cardio
We call our cardio session Sweaty Saturday. We run this session through the winter when it's tough to get outside. You will burn calories and challenge your body with a variety of movements - when you just do one type of cardio machine your body adapts and is not as efficient at burning calories, but not in this session! We got you!
